Source:ZS Machinery Time:2016-08-16 Click:60 Times
The main types used in textile production are:
- Sublimation transfer machines – print disperse dye onto transfer paper, then transfer it onto polyester and blended fabric using heat and pressure. Best for sportswear, swimwear, home textiles and banners.
- Flat screen printing machines – print paste directly through a flat screen. Suited to large motifs and heavy ink coverage.
- Rotary screen printing machines – continuous printing with a cylindrical screen, used for very high volumes.
- Digital printers – print directly onto fabric or onto transfer paper, with no screen or plate to prepare. Best for short runs, samples and personalised work.
- Banner printing machines – wide-format inkjet printing directly onto banner material.
Which one suits you depends on the fabric, the artwork and the output you need. If you are unsure, tell us what you print and we will point you in the right direction.
